The Jazz Room Chester Concert reviews
ANITA BAKER BOMBED!
The seating on the floor would be comfortable, but it was very close and tight, making it uncomfortable. People were leaning against each other. The show was supposed to start at 7, but it didn't happen. Loud speakers played the Jazz Room MUSIC repeatedly for over 2 hours. People started 'Booing' loudly.... it wasn't until 9:15 that the curtain finally opened. I thought Anita, with her grace and sophistication, would have addressed the audience as she began her show to offer some kind of apology. Nope. After spending over a hundred and fifty dollars, we left during her first 30 minutes. It was a huge disappointment to see her perform. I had been a fan for over 2 decades. This was the first time I had ever seen her in concert, and it will be the last.
